Tri-M Music Honor Society

Overview

The Tri-M Music Honor Society was established in 1995-1996, to foster a continued interest and desire for excellence in music performance, to encourage appreciation and awareness in listening to music, to promote wider opportunities for sharing joy through music both within our school and within our community, to advance the spirit of good music and musical knowledge, and to enhance the reputation of our school as a center for musical enrichment.

Open to students in grades 10, 11, 12, who are enrolled in a music performance class for a second, third or fourth year and who have a GPA of 90% and above. Students are required to perform yearly in a recital and receive an excellent or superior rating. Members and candidates for membership must attend all recitals and meetings of the Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Share the Music

A Tri-M Music Honor Society Community Service Project

What is Share the Music? Share the Music provides musical instruments to schools that cannot afford instruments. We provide instruments by:
Raising money with bake sales and raffles at concerts
Collecting instruments from members of the local community

How Can You Help? If you have an instrument in working condition collecting dust somewhere in your house, feel free to contact us.

We will pick up any instruments at your convenience and also provide you with a voucher for an Astral Artistic Services Performance! If you don't have an instrument but are interested in supporting our cause, please stop by one of our bake sales or raffles! Thank you for your interest in helping us to share the music!
