AP Exam Registration Sept 28th - Nov 13th

AP 2026-2027 Registration Bulletin

Participating in Advanced Placement (AP) exams is the culminating experience of each AP course. vWhile AP exams are optional, Eastern Regional High School strongly encourages students to take the exam associated with their AP course.  A strong performance on an AP exam could earn students college credit or advanced placement, potentially reducing the number of college courses required and saving a significant amount in tuition costs.

Exam registration will begin on Monday, September 28th and end on Wednesday, Nov 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

The AP exam registration process is broken into two steps.  Both steps must be completed in order to have AP exams ordered.  Please use your school email address.

Step 1: Register and pay for your exams in Total Registration

Step 2: Complete the process by visiting MyAP.

-Create/login to your College Board account.  Once logged in, go to the “AP Classroom” page.

-Enroll all your AP courses and exams in the College Board's “MyAP" system with the Join Codes you received from Total Registration.  If you have already joined the classes in MyAP through your classroom teacher, you’re already enrolled and don’t need the join codes given by Total Registration.  However, you do need to check MyAP to confirm that all classes for which you plan to test are listed.  The College Board defaults to “testing - yes” when students join the class in MyAP.  If the class is listed, there is nothing more you need to do.

Eastern will only order exams for which you have paid for in Total Registration AND joined appropriately in MyAP.

This year, each AP exam costs $102.00.  Students who are approved for the Federal Free/Reduced Lunch program and require financial assistance should contact Mr. Crawford in Guidance to learn more.

Important dates for the registration process:

• Sept. 28, 2026 - Registration Begins
• Nov 13, 2026 - Registration Ends.  Registration after this date is not guaranteed and may incur an additional fee.
