    Program Overview
The Lockheed Martin T.A.L.E.N.T. program is a full‑time, paid engineering apprenticeship for recent high‑school graduates (including seniors who can apply now) who are not yet ready for or not immediately planning to pursue a four‑year college degree, but are eager to start a technical career.

    • Registered apprenticeship – The role is an official U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship, offering a structured curriculum of training, mentorship, and hands‑on engineering experience.
    • On‑site, permanent position – Unlike summer internships, this position is 100 % on‑site and offers a long‑term employment trajectory, not a temporary placement.
    • Career‑focused pathway – Apprentices work side‑by‑side with senior engineers on real projects, gaining the skills needed to advance through three distinct apprenticeship levels and then transition into a variety of permanent engineering career tracks.
    • Broad engineering exposure – Opportunities are available across multiple disciplines, including Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Integration & Test, Hardware Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Project Engineering, allowing participants to align their work with their interests and strengths.
    • Full benefits & tuition assistance – Apprentices receive the same comprehensive benefits as Lockheed Martin employees so are eligible for tuition assistance should they decide to pursue further education at any time during their employment.

We encourage high‑school seniors who are on‑track to graduate this spring to apply and take the first step toward a rewarding engineering career with Lockheed Martin.
