Due to COVID-19 and the preventative closure of school buildings and facilities, all Bus Transportation for students is suspended until further notice. As per the Governor's order, Eastern will continue remote schooling through the end of the 2019-2020 school year.

If you are participating in the free lunch program available to all students attending Eastern, lunches are being delivered on a weekly basis every Monday.

    Stay well!

If there are any questions or problems once remote schooling ends and transportation begins, please call the bus company located on your child's PowerSchool Transportation tab. The bus company would be able to answer questions regarding the status of a specific bus. Eastern's Transportation Coordinator is outside during student arrival to school. Therefore, questions directed to the Transportation Coordinator at Eastern are answered after all buses have reported.

How will I be notified of any delay or cancellation of bus service?

An automated phone message is sent when we are notified of a delay of more than 15 minutes and the routes that are delayed will be posted on the website. It is therefore very important to inform the school of any changes to your contact information.

The bus is late, what should I do?

    • Call the bus company to notify them that the bus is late (the name and phone number of the company are on the bus schedule you received through PowerSchool).

    • Please do not wait more than 15 to 20 minutes to contact the bus company to report a problem.
